Diners rave about the freshly prepared noodles, especially the popular jjajangmyeon. The menu doesn’t stop there—seafarers will appreciate the Korean Red Seafood Noodle Soup packed with mussels, prawns, and tender squid.

The homemade kimchi receives high praise, adding a punch of flavor. Generosity in portion sizes allows guests to leave content, often with leftovers. Guests enjoy the relaxed, cosy atmosphere that gives Zazza a feeling like dining in someone’s home. Friendly service adds to the charm, making everyone feel welcomed and relaxed.

Most Disliked

Some customers note occasional miscommunications regarding specific dishes. For instance, a mix-up on fried rice orders has been mentioned, though this tends to be more of a minor inconvenience than a drawback.

A few diners have expressed that while the flavors are impeccable, some portion sizes of particular side dishes may feel a bit small. Additionally, the location of the water dispenser might require guests to squeeze past others, which can lead to slight inconveniences during busier periods.

My dear friend took me yesterday after recommending it and sharing a video of the place. The owner was so lovely and accommodating. She also had a great sense of humour. She knew how to read the room and her friendliness made us feel like we have know her for a long time. The food was absolutely amazing, great portions and very tasty. They also had drinks I haven't seen before and was very exited to try. We had a buffet of freebies as well which was my first time to experience. The atmosphere felt like being invited to their home. Toilet was very clean and private rooms were also available which could be used as well. The kitchen is also very clean and you can see the chef working so professionally and very friendly too. We had chicken and seafood soup and we still had leftovers that we ate at home. I'm sure to recommend to many others and can't wait to return.

I understand the fuss!! I had the Korean noodles with squid, mussels, and prawns — and it was absolutely spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly: the prawns were juicy, the squid was tender (not rubbery!), and the mussels were fresh and full of flavour. The broth was rich and comforting, and the noodles had just the right bite and it was great knowing it was cooked in house. What really made the experience even better was the service. The lady was incredibly friendly and warm, genuinely welcoming and happy to answer questions. It’s always a plus when you feel well looked after. Overall, a delicious, satisfying meal with excellent service to match. Highly recommend!

This is a very charming and cozy restaurant tucked away at the back of a shop, which gives it a unique and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent - warm, friendly, and attentive. Our server went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, taking the time to explain the menu clearly and guide us through the self-service side dishes, which was a really helpful touch. The food itself was generous in portion size and full of flavour, offering great value as well as a satisfying meal. Everything was served promptly and with care, and we left feeling both well-fed and well looked after. Overall, this restaurant has a lovely hidden-gem feel to it. Between the cozy setting, thoughtful service, and hearty food, it’s definitely a place worth visiting.

sooo yummy! didn’t even stop to take a photo of the food i got before i started eating. i came here the other week with my friend, and had jjajangmyeon and egg fried rice. slight miscommunication on the fried rice, as we wanted the kimchi one, but it wasn’t big enough of a deal to bother with and they’d already made the rice (which was super yum too). we also had pork and chicken side dishes, both of which were good, but i think a little bit small portion-wise. i enjoyed the self service side dishes, and discovered that i love pickled radish. i do wish the water dispenser was in a slightly more accessible spot because you do have to squeeze past people to get there. overall, a lovely cosy meal that gave sort of “homey” vibes, would defo come here again.

Amazing small "ma n pa" run restaurant. The dishes we tried were delicious and generous portions. They have banchan, and the kimchi is home made. Would definitely return

We booked in for our mate's birthday and the whole experience was fantastic. Food packed with flavour and gret service. We ordered food for 6 and ended up truly stuffed. The kimchi bar was an excellent addition to accompany some of the dishes. Will definitely come back for more, a truly hidden gem in New Malden

This little gem is tucked behind the Seoul Plaza grocery story. Had such a lovely lunch today! Hetty is such a kind and gracious host — we felt welcome right away. The jjajjamyeon was the best I’ve had since being back home, and the tangsuyuk was so delicious. The house made noodles had the perfect chew. Don’t miss the kimchee bar with homemade kimchee and pickles — such a treat! They also have a great lunch deal too but I was a bit too greedy for that. 🤭
